Chichu Art Museum

Tadao Ando designed Chichu Art Museum largely below ground so the building would preserve the Seto Inland Sea landscape. Natural light changes the experience of permanent works by Claude Monet, James Turrell and Walter De Maria throughout the day and seasons.
